Many people think and have thought that they can be prepared for the trouble that is coming upon the earth at the end of days by figuring out the schedule of those events according to My word here. But I have not given this word for men to figure out time schedules and the sequence of events. What I pointed out to My disciples concerned the destruction of the temple. It wasn’t just to impress them and to undermine their false ideas and impressions. It was rather to alert them to the fact that My kingdom is quite different from that which they had supposed. You see here even today how men will venerate buildings and structures and memories of things past, how they will see My glory tied to what hands have made, and because they give themselves to these things and identify My glory with them they oppose the true nature of My kingdom. When My kingdom manifests itself in the midst of all these things it is opposed, for it is so very different from what men think and what they have erected. I wanted My disciples to see, and I want you to see and understand so that you will not be misled and you will not be taken by surprise. For the appeal of false prophets and false christs will be to the hearts of those who hold to the structures and the teachings and the practices that men have devised.
Since these are not of My kingdom but of the world though they have a pretense and form of godliness, they really are opposed to true godliness.
As you give your heart to Me and resist these things you will be secure, but your security will not be of this world for I have said that you will be hated of all nations on account of My name. You will be viewed as a threat and as a danger to society. You see here that My Son said that many who name My name will fall away, but I want your hearts to be prepared not only so that you may not fall away but that you may help others to stand fast. If you love Me above all that your eyes see, then more and more those things which shall be removed will have little attraction. What you have to endure for My name’s sake will not seem burdensome or too great a sacrifice. You will rejoice, not in the conventions of men but in My true kingdom, and you will recognize that which is true and that which is false.
You will not be moved away from My kingdom by tribulation and opposition, and you will rejoice that the gospel is proclaimed to the nations.

These days are coming and they are soon upon you, yes they are soon upon you, and I neither want you or any of My faithful ones to be taken by surprise. These days are coming and I want you to be prepared. Yes, these days are coming. In fact they have already begun. The fulfillment of all things is not far away. These days are coming, but they are not for you days of defeat and despair. They are not for you to be dreaded, for you will not be hidden if you desire to serve Me, for you will be more manifest, prominent, and more exposed than ever before. There have been times when these things have occurred to My people that are written here, but the time of all times when they shall be fulfilled in full measure is soon to come. It is not far off, but I call you, now before they are upon you, to embrace the portion I have for you in your hearts and then nothing, no matter how severe, will shake you or move you from My sure foundation.
