Have I not said that I am a God who works for those who wait for Me? I speak this word to you today to strengthen and encourage you to remind you that I indeed do work all things together after the counsel of My own will.
I have spoken to you of the faithfulness to what I have called you and today I speak to you of My faithfulness which will sustain and support yours. For you see here how I work in a situation in which it seems that the enemy has the advantage. You see how I was bringing together behind the scenes the events to fulfill My purpose to bring about the defeat of the enemy and the confirmation of My word. Do you think it was just flesh and blood, mere human pride, ambition and arrogance that prompted Haman?
No, it was not. The rage of the enemy against Me expressed itself vehemently through this instrument to destroy My people. But I had My instruments also, and as they waited on Me and looked to Me I gave them wisdom, courage, faith and a plan. But even beyond their work I worked.
Do you think it a mere coincidence that the king could not sleep and that it came into his mind to call for the records? Do you think that in the flow of affairs with all the details he had to consider that it was a mere happenstance that this matter came up at this time? Do you think also that it was a mere coincidence that Haman came into the court at the very time the king pondered these things? Can you see even the evil counsel of Haman’s wife and friends was turned about as an instrument of judgment rather than the destruction of My servant? Yes, My hand moves in the affairs of those who trust Me even to turn the efforts of their enemies to their advantage. But I want you to see the contrast. I want you to see the motivation of the heart, for Haman’s concerns were totally selfish. He was consumed with his own interests. He had no regard for the well being of anyone else but himself. But My servants Mordechai and Esther were concerned for the well-being of My people. They were willing to risk themselves so that My people could be spared and protected. Though it is not specifically declared, they looked to Me. I want to encourage you to be concerned for My people and to look steadfastly to Me. You will see My hand move mightily on their behalf and your efforts shall be honored because I am faithful, for My faithfulness will sustain your faithfulness.
